The employment of an ICT Learning Officer, upgrading of the existing ICT suite in Mega bytes cafe in Aberfan and opening up the Community House in Merthyr Vale to the general public. The Learning Officers work will allow the public greater ICT access and offer a wide range of digital inclusion activities such as multi-media and new internet technologies. The ICT officer will also run Internet safety workshops in the community. The new project will allow access for the whole community and provide access to the ICT facility in Merthyr vale where there previously was none.
