Web Activity Reporting
We use ‘Google Analytics’ to monitor website usage. This records your IP addresss, and browser type, date and time of activity. None of this information is tied to a personally identifiable piece of data (like e-mail address). Communities @One will use this information to analyse general page view and referrer activity to get a sense of traffic patterns and placement effectiveness
What other information do we collect about you?
From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address) in order to receive or use services on our website. Such services include newsletters, competitions, message boards and membership.
Clearly, the better that we know you, the better that we can tailor our services to meet your needs, but we will limit the collection and use of your information to the minimum required to deliver, develop and improve our services to you, which includes advising you about services, events and other opportunities.
Information recorded about you is not rented or provided to any other business or organization other than the Wales Co-operative Centre who manage Communities @One.
Forums, blogs, message boards
Please be aware that when you post public information to any forums, blogs, or message boards on or through the Website, that information can be accessed by the public.
Newsletters
We will not send you email newsletters at any time unless you have expressly opted in to receive them.
We also include web beacons (also known as clear GIFs or web bugs) in our emails to track the success of our marketing campaigns. This means that if you open an email from us we can see the date and time of this activity and if you click any of the links in the newsletter we record the pages of our website you visit.
Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any email.
